Sardinian textile art represents a fascinating cultural heritage with distant origins dating back to the first prehistoric eras. But to be able to talk about real looms, we have to wait for the end of the 1800s and the early years of the 1900s, when the first vertical looms appear. Each family owned a loom and this led to a collaborative society where artisan work became a source of sustenance and wealth. The decorative motifs can be divided into four main groups: floral and plant motifs, motifs featuring the animal world, heraldic motifs and geometric patterns. It is precisely the geometric patterns that inspired the creation of this pattern, which seeks to communicate the warmth of the craftsmanship of the past.
